You may have read on the Project page the following statement (well, something close to it):
Since Clow Cards are not a Tarot deck, but are considered an Oracle Deck, they have no reversals.
Well, I’ve recently been studying Brian Froud’s Faery Oracle, and I can now say from experience that the above is not true. I originally took that from Lester’s Clow Card Fortune Book translation post, since I thought it was stated somewhere in the book.
In fact, reversals aren’t mentioned anywhere in the book! Alright, let’s look at this from both sides of the coin.
Evidence against reversals: Not mentioned anywhere in the book, including examples of readings.
Evidence for reversals: The shuffling method, messages compared to warnings.
Let’s look at this a little more closely! (Read more to find out!)

Yes, I’m making a guide on shuffling. And I know what you’re thinking. “We already have the shuffling method.”
But what if you wanted to do something different? Let’s say you’re in the car and want to do a one-card reading (more on those later). Or, you’re in a more confined area… like a surface where the cards keep falling off. Maybe you don’t like the method that CLAMP proposes; it takes too long / too much effort.
There are two other methods of shuffling that you can use: riffling and lacing.
Riffling… This method had actually been suggested by Kebinu on the now dead forums. And I *did* overreact a bit. Basically this method is the same way you shuffling regular playing cards. JUST DON’T DO THE BRIDGE. That’s what I thought Kebinu was doing / suggesting.
I’ve actually tried doing this with my deck of Clow Cards. I didn’t get very far. My hands are too small and the cards too big. >.< SO, if your versions of the cards are smaller, or you have the right size hands, you can probably try this and see if you like it.
Lacing… This is the method that I usually do. You just hold the deck in your left hand and keep sliding cards into your right hand. You slide them onto the top of the growing deck in your right hand, and then to the bottom. That’s where the name lacing comes from, it’s like you’re lacing shoes. ;D It takes a bit of practice.
Cutting the Deck… You can choose to cut the deck or not. Your choice. You can cut it into three piles, five piles, ten piles… You name it.
And here’s the conclusion: Shuffling however you want. You can use the method in the Fortune Book, you can riffle, you can lace… You can do a combination of the three! And you can cut the deck however you want, or even not at all. Experiment and find out what works best for you.

During the time I my Clow Card Fortune Shoppe was open on the Gaia Online Mini Shops forum, I did about maybe 5-7 readings. Then I closed it. Why? Well, first of all, all the meanings hadn’t been completely translated. I was working around that, but it took extra time.
