Welcome to the Clow Card Fortune Book page!
Just payin' the bills...
An Explanation
This was once a fancy Webpress-run blog used to update my translation progress on CLAMP's Clow Card Fortune Book. When I was finished, there wasn't much else to say, so the site basically died. I have turned this blog into a regular ol' HTML file. It has all the information presented from my old site. Read it as if it were a book!
I have also decided to keep the forums. You can still access them here.
And now, a plug to the Clow Card Tarot chat group:

What You'll Need
You will need the following:
* A quiet room, where you can focus.
* A large table or surface.
* A Clow Card Set OR a Sakura Card Set — or a regular deck of playing cards with the jokers removed!
If you are looking for a Clow Card deck, there are two places you can find them:
* eBay
* Yahoo! JP Auctions (through Rinkya or another similar service)
Many of the sets on eBay are Chinese bootlegs though, so make sure what you're getting is official. Otherwise, you may end up with a really cheap quality set (although I'm not sure, I don't own any of the bootleg sets). In any case, only get one that has the card form images, no character (such as Sakura or Tomoyo) images.
Here's a quick synopsis of the official versions that are out there (click on the link for a picture) in order of quality:
The Japanese Deluxe Clow Card Set (Kodansha), the Sakura Card Set (Bandai) and Sakura Cards + Pouch Set (Bandai), the Japanese Regular Clow Card Set, and the American Clow Card Set.
Basically, anything with an official Bandai label / sticker on it.

If you use MacOS X or Linux and you are having problems opening the zip files due to the password protection...
I zipped up all the images with 7zip, and they have several different “unofficial” packages available for download for MacOS X and various flavors of Linux.

With this program installed you should be able to unzip them without any problems using the supplied password.

FAQ
Q: Where can I buy a Deluxe Card Set or other Set?
A: As said in the What You'll Need section, there's really only two places where you can reliably find Deluxe Card Sets, or other Clow / Sakura Card Sets, and that's:
1. eBay
2. Yahoo! JP Auctions (through Rinkya or another similar service)
You MIGHT be able to find one at your local anime store, but these items have been out of print for a long time, so I really doubt it. You can't find them at Wal-mart or Kmart or Target or what have you!
(You don't want to know how many times I've been asked this question.)
